Objective
Operates at the intersection of Business Intelligence and Systems Discovery—architecting enterprise semantic structures, drilling down into pipeline bugs, and advising development squads on data availability.
Internal Alignment
Resource will be taking the ownership of Power BI enhancements, UX changes and also will be aligned with the Discovery team providing the technical support in terms of data exploration, investigations, exploration and supporting discovery team in term of documentations and day to day activities working under Discovery lead .
Technical Skills & Competencies
- PowerBI & DAX: Advanced expertise in dashboard composition, custom report generation, calculation metric tuning through DAX, and setting row-level security parameters.
- Structured Data Modelling: Comprehensive grasp of enterprise-scale dimensional modelling paradigms (Star Schema, Snowflake Schema), relationship constraints, and optimization of staging layer performance.
- Exploratory SQL Proficiency: Robust capabilities utilizing SQL queries for querying complex repositories, validating transformation accuracy, and mapping table relationships.
- Technical Root Cause Analysis (RCA): Systematic skill in tracking technical defects, identifying anomalies, and running diagnostics across broken models or reporting layers.
- Technical Discovery Architecture: Proven experience exploring new data sets, validating structural integrity, and producing design summaries that assist development cohorts during engineering readiness.
