Mobile App Test Engineer (Manual & Automation)

Desired Skills & Competencies

• Good understanding of Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) and Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Hands-on experience in testing Android and iOS mobile applications and Windows app.
• Experience in: Functional Testing, Regression Testing, Smoke & Sanity Testing, Integration Testing, Exploratory Testing.
• Hands-on experience with mobile automation tools such as Appium.
• Experience with automation frameworks such as Robot Framework or similar.
• 2-3 years’ experience in any automation script. (Must have
• Programming knowledge in Python, C# or Java.
• Experience with defect tracking tools such as Jira or Azure DevOps.
• Knowledge of Git for source code management.
• Hands-on experience in REST API testing using Postman or similar tools.
• Understanding of Agile/Scrum development methodology.

Good to Have:

• Experience with CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps Pipelines, or Jenkins.
• Experience with API automation.
• Knowledge of performance testing basics.
• Experience using emulators, simulators, and real mobile devices.
• Basic SQL knowledge.
• Exposure to cloud-based device farms such as BrowserStack or Sauce Labs.
• Experience working in Scrum or Agile teams.
• Understanding of mobile application architecture and debugging tools.

Nice to Have (Optional):

• Experience with MAUI, Flutter, or React Native applications.
• Exposure to security or accessibility testing.
• Experience with code review and automation framework design.
• AI-assisted testing using GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, or similar tools.
• Awareness or beginner experience with Docker or other containerization tools
