June 20, 2016 – New York: American Diabetes Association, in their mission to prevent and cure diabetes and to improve the lives of all people affected by diabetes, signed up with Impelsys, a leader in publishing and learning technology, to make their research and educational content available for institutional and retail users on a robust eBooks delivery infrastructure powered by iPublishCentral Ebooks (Now mon’k eBook).
The American Diabetes Association, with a network of more than one million volunteers and memberships of more than 441,000 people with diabetes, supported by a professional society of nearly 16,500 healthcare professionals, funds research to prevent, cure, and manage diabetes. The enormous body of valuable research and educational content generated by the association will be hosted on the portal and made available for members, institutions, and other retail users.
The portal that will be developed on Impelsys’ flagship content delivery platform, iPublishCentral Ebooks (Now mon’k eBook), will allow setting up institutional and retail access models with built-in DRM protection and will facilitate online and offline access of content across all devices (laptop, desktop, tablets, and smartphones) through mobile reader and bookshelf apps.
