Varun Kumar

Varun Kumar is the Vice President – Business Development, AMEA, at Impelsys, leading the Healthcare and Pharma GCC vertical. He is responsible for driving go-to-market strategy and building pipeline across India and the AMEA region for global healthcare and life sciences companies establishing Global Capability Centers in India.

Varun brings 20 years of deep healthcare industry experience spanning pharma, diagnostics, hospital groups, and enterprise SaaS. His career has taken him through some of India’s most respected organizations, including Pfizer, UCB Pharma, Dr. Lal PathLabs, Quest Diagnostics, and Fortis Healthcare, before spending seven years at MedLern, an Impelsys company, where he built a hospital network of more than 400 institutions across India.

His domain credibility across pharma, diagnostics, medtech, and hospital systems gives Impelsys a genuine edge in winning complex, consultative GCC mandates where trust and sector depth matter. Based in Bengaluru, Varun is an ISB GMP alumnus and is actively building Impelsys’ presence across priority healthcare and pharma accounts in the AMEA region.
