Marmam Publishing join hands with Impelsys to unveil Mera Library

June 13, 2016 – New York: Marmam Publishing, a leading aggregator, publisher and distributor of eBooks in Indian languages, in their effort to preserve and consolidate literary classics in regional Indian languages partnered with Impelsys, a leader in publishing and learning technology solutions to unveil Mera Library

Mera Library, a platform built on Impelsys’ flagship eBooks delivery solution, iPublishCentral Ebooks, will eventually be home to over 4000 books in eight Indian regional languages besides English, written by 2000 authors through 250 publications. Mera library will host some of the literary classics in regional languages; titles that are difficult to find even in print today.

The robust portal allows user memberships through a monthly or a yearly subscription model and facilitates online and offline access of content across all devices (laptop, desktop, tablets and smartphones). The content engineering and transformation effort at Impelsys will also support Mera Library in transforming these old vernacular classics to digital eBooks formats that can be hosted on the portal.

Talking on the sidelines of the launch, Sameer Shariff, Founder and CEO, Impelsys said “We are dealing with priceless assets here; classical literary works that showcase Indian heritage and culture.
